Once you have them, click on the icon that will appear in QGIS, to open the manager.
Table of Contents
Video Manager
From the manager, you can open and manage your play list. To add a video, (if the video is already MISB compliant) simply click on File -> Open Video File and select a video file from the dialog window to add it to the play list.
Multiplexor
If your video is not MISB compliant, you will have to create it via the Multiplexor. To do this you will need the telemetry file that corresponds to the video. This file can be found in your Ground Control Station (phone or tablets) file folder.
- The folder path will look similar to this: Pixel 3 XL\DJI\Dji.go.v4\FlightRecords
- The file you need will look like this: DJIFlightRecord_2018-10-25_[10-34-38]
Convert it to .csv using the CsvView tool Simply open the telemetry file in CsvView and save it out as a .csv file.
Other way to create it is, go to DJI Flight Log Viewer site, import the .txt and click in the Download Verbose CSV option.
Once this is done you can use the Multiplexor to create a MISB compliant video.
From the manager simpy click on File -> Create MISB File, select the video and the corresponding telemetry file. There is an option to modify the Horizontal and Vertical Fields of View if necessary.
Note: The FOV are crucial for correct corner points calculation, so have a look at your DJI manual to get the correct numbers.
Note: If you have more than one video recorded in a flight, the Multiplxor tool needs to identify each recodring event. Simply select Extract Recordings Then select the corresponsing recording to the video as it was captured. Ex: If you started and stopped the video 3 times over the course of one flight and want to use the second one. The Multiplexor tool will find three Recordings. Chose the matching one, the second one.
Once all information has been provided select the Create MISB button. It will load the new file into the Video Manager.
IMPORTANT: This only works with DJI data for now
If you want to play a video after adding it to the play list, double-click on any video in the manager and the player will be opened playing the selected video. For playing another video, it is not necessary to close the player, just click on a different video and it will be played.
If you want to remove it from the list, click on the selected video, click on the mouse right button hover on row that you want and then on Remove fron list.
